By Redeemer Lutheran on Jun 11, 2015 05:50 am The Followers of Jesus as invasive understand the importance of the ordinary and the everyday stuff that makes up our lives. It is there in the days at hand that we bring in the Reign of God as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit. That Spirit moves. That Spirit nudges us into all the life that can fill this day. In other words, there is no time or place in which we are not being an invasive power remaking the world and reshaping its character. The Followers of Jesus as invasive participate in the character of God's Reign as we hear it displayed in places like the sermon on the mount. We turn things around - we re-view - we re-make what is into that which is a part of the promise of God's love unfolding for the world. O God of Love and All Hopefulness, take us forward into this day and be the ground that gives us something to stand on as we exercise the life you offer to us through the Christ, Jesus. Amen.
