Comments to: adebelak@redeemerluth.com The Followers of Jesus as staying in touch keep their hands on the world around them. That may mean we will get our hands dirty at times. The real world is dirty and in need of folks who are not afraid to step into all of it and lend a hand and stand alongside. Staying in touch may be the action we do not want to take on. It I easy for any of us to learn to keep our hands clean. Too often that means we do not risk reaching out into the middle of the world and touching others. When we choose not to stay in touch with 'those others' we will certainly keep what we have and we will not have to think about any of 'them.' That is often called the good life - it is a lie. The good life is life in which we need not fear staying in touch with others. In fact, the Followers of Jesus as staying in touch will find lie to be surprisingly full of adventures that bring promise and new life that helps make things good for all. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, keep us open to all that will enter our lives this day. Encourage us to stay in touch. Amen. Read in browser » Recent Articles:
