By Redeemer Lutheran on Nov 04, 2015 05:50 am The Reign of God as Nevertheless. Comments to: adebelak@redeemerluth.com The Reign of God as nevertheless will make us adjust ourselves in our seats because no matter how we attempt to say we cannot go there or do that or say something - we are being invited to nevertheless - go for it. We can be the greatest inhibitor to taking a walk into the Reign of God. If you are anything like me I often choose to walk round that garden of creativity. I too easily remain within the limits I have somehow nurtured - maybe out of fearmaybe out of comfort. The Reign of God as nevertheless opens the gate and invites us into the realm of God's creativity that can shake us and move us beyond our limits - beyond our well-defined barriers to others and new life. We are always being introduced to how the world that is opening up before us may be one that is not like anything we expected - nevertheless. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, take us up into your Reigning presence and remind us of how life is eternally unfolding and we need not fear that which unfold before us even now. Amen.
