Rather than go through the day in this way or that way, we are being offered a way to move from here to there. It is not a robotic movement. It is direction and guidance. We maintain our personality - our individuality - our uniqueness. And yet, we are being shaped so that the action is within the bounds of the life of the Reign of God. Take all that you may be and bring it onto the stage of God's unfolding peaceable Reign. Ready. Action. O God of love and new life, lead us into your Reign and set us in the middle of all that will unfold within it. Amen. |
