Comments to: adebelak@redeemerluth.com The Followers of Jesus as grateful have their whole lives to give away for they know that life itself is a gift freely given. That 'giving away' is an act of thanksgiving. We already have life and within the grasp of God's promises, we have life abundantly. To be loved and shaped by that love and empowered to be that love is an amazing gift - an amazing grace. The Followers of Jesus as grateful do not go without because we are always gather around others who are as thankful as we are. That is the community of Christ - the Followers of Jesus. The table on Sunday mornings feeds us with a life that is sewn together to others. There are no loners out there - the loner is always matched up with another so that we are given the opportunity to share the blessings around us. Maybe that is why we say in the midst of two or three there is the Christ - alive and graciously enriching all life. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, as we give-away our lives in service to others, you always bring others to serve us. It is an endless circle that we do not always see. And yet, you draw us into it each day. We give you thanks. Amen. Read in browser » Recent Articles:
