Comments to: adebelak@redeemerluth.com The Followers of Jesus as quite ordinary take on the way of Jesus in, with, and under all the events of the day. We are then a people whose faithfulness to following Jesus introduce us to some extraordinary ways of living in the world. Though we are quite ordinary, we can be people who take time to care for others. This is quite ordinary yet it is not aways the case in the world around us. We are invited to make caring for others - any and all others - quite ordinary. Therefore, people not like us become those with whom we extend a hand and even offer our lives - our quite ordinary lives. To act in that kind of way to those who are 'other' disturbs the status quo of the society. The Followers of Jesus as quite ordinary walk within the day as though the character of God's Reign - in all of its love for all - is how we define being ordinary - quite ordinary. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, expand the life that is so ordinary among us and let it include your blessed Reign. Amen.
