Comments to: adebelak@redeemerluth.com The Followers of Jesus as quite ordinary will not be identifiable as being religious people in a traditional sense. We will be you neighbor or stranger or friend who - within the ordinary acts of the day - put to life a character that makes something unique about ordinary actions. Instead of going along with the ordinary violence of the day we will take part in a peaceable walk. We will walk within the context of our everyday life together and yet we will attempt to not flow into the patterns of violence that seem so natural to so many. So acts of forgiveness and grace and service and justice and mercy will become quite ordinary. It may be that our ordinary begins to seem out of place - or maybe - something that attracts others. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, make your ways ordinary among us. Amen.
