That which will come will - in some shape - continue to reveal the promises of our God. That does not mean good things will be coming into our lives. In fact the worst of times may be ahead. And yet, the worst of time do not eliminate the life God promises. We are grateful as we remember to rise up and look again at the world around us. How can we be alive now? How will we be alive now? How can we possibly the beloved of God even now? The Followers of Jesus as grateful find that within age old promises that sustain the day and open up the future, we are always given the opportunity to live lives in which we can graciously be present by being grateful for the life at hand. In those moments, there is the possibility of God's Reign coming to life for us and those around us. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, lead us into lives of gratitude that make the present full of your glory and your life. Amen. Read in browser » Recent Articles:
