Comments to: adebelak@redeemerluth.com The Followers of Jesus as grateful expect that there will be life that will be lived out to the fullest today. I am not sure what that will mean for each person. What matters is that we enter the day full of grateful hearts that will liberate our lives so that we will be available to others. Grateful people care about others - Grateful people understand that no one wins the day alone - Grateful people are able to look up and see many reasons to engage the world with a sense of loving kindness and hopefulness. The Followers of Jesus as grateful even understand that the very worst day is still an opportunity to catch a glimpse of God's Reign alive. It is even a time for us to live as though we are a part of that Reign rather than ruled by the powers of the day. We really are quite a free people even when things do not go our way. We are free to turn and go the way our God invites us to live and we do not need anyone's approval or permission. We are a grateful people and that will change the world. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, open up our hearts and let this day be open to your rule. Amen. Read in browser » Recent Articles:
