So don't think that you may have passed up the opportunity to enter that Reign - for it is an active power - a moving wind of life. We may not know the exact way it breaks into our lives and yet it will and it does. Maybe we need to take seriously the invitation to breathe - allow space - sit back - wait - listen. It may be that in those moments - both short and long - we see it or hear it - we are touched by it - we stumble into it. The Reign of God as Coming Forth is part of the promise that God acts for us without any action on our part. For in the very next moment - there it is calling us and delivering us into a life we may not have anticipated or may not have taken up on our own. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, let your Reign come down - drench us with the water of life that makes us take a new look at the possibilities to walk in your Reign today. Amen.
