The Reign of God as Coming Forth. Comments to: adebelak@redeemerluth.com

The Reign of God as Coming Forth keeps flowing. We can walk away from its life - but it keep flowing and it keeps being the power that moves the lives of God's people to new places. There are so many choices to make. Many of those choices move away from the life of the Reign of God - but they are enticing and seem to be just what we want. I wonder though, if our movements away from the flow of God's Reign really take us to a new place and life. I think that most often the various ways we choose to go eventually keep looking like those places we have already been. Maybe that is because we usually follow our own image - even when it seems to be packaged differently. In other words, many of our choices usually are all about me. But the Reign of God as Coming Forth will take us away from our way and it will introduce us into a mind and heart and walk that is not programmed like so much of our lives. People will still recognize us - but they will also see something different and new. They may even ask about it.

O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, spill over into our lives and help us move along your stream of eternal promises. Amen.
