Comments to: adebelak@redeemerluth.com The Reign of God as Coming Forth reminds me of those oceans of clouds that we can see in the distance and before we really have time to do much of anything - they are above us. Those clouds roll on through and envelope our lives. They then keep moving and we have no control over how fast they roll by or what kind of weather they bring with them. We only know their impact once we are in the midst of them. The cool break from the hot sun - the storm that bursts onto the scene - it comes and we are simply caught up in it all. The Reign of God as Coming Forth doesn't ask our permission to roll into our lives. Ha! It simply arrives. We may see it coming and we may see how it changed things around us - and yet, it keeps on rolling and it keeps on bringing a new look to that which is so common to us. In central Ohio we know that from one moment to another the weather can change. If is not raining or snowing now - wait a few minutes because it just may. Such is the Reign of God that keeps Coming Forth all around us. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, keep that Reign of yours coming forth and bringing a fresh new world into our lives. Amen.
