It all happens so that we will look again and question and look out over other things with the same kind of questions. Maybe we need to ask if the Reign really is Coming Forth in, with, and under the life we lead and the life of the followers of Jesus with whom we gather. We need not fear the ways we fall short or have chosen to follow other gods along the way - as we all do. The Reign of God as Coming Forth cares not about what has been. It is moving into the day at hand and what will be. We are always invited into that reality that is unfolding. Therefore it is vital for us to listen and look and move into the Coming Forth of God's Reign today. O God of New Life and All Hopefulness, as your rescue us from ourselves, you always promise to deliver us into new life. Take us now and always into your way. Amen.
