She now smiles - brilliantly - almost magically. That smile and that look were not there previously. God as breaking new ground takes what is - even an infant - and brings to life more than we ever were able to see. God as breaking new ground takes us from what was yesterday and puts before us experiences that we may enter and face as though they will open up new life for everyone. This is the God who uses us as we are to move into new directions. Yes, we may just be the vehicles for how new ground is broken open and new life begins to emerge. God as breaking new ground is not merely the God who act toward us - this is the God who is acting through us. Read the passion story and see one way it works. O God of love and new life, use us as the tools to bring forth new life and prepare this day for your constant arrival among us bringing life we have never seen previously. Amen. |
